Thorn is a frontline damage dealer and phase-switcher. Featuring a unique stances mechanic, Thorn may switch between offensive and defensive modes, changing what her basic attacks do, while opening up additional abilities for her to use. With average durability, below average mobility, but above average damage output, she can be used as either a tank or a glass cannon. She rewards offense or defense positions and mark-heavy teams, where she may deal heavy damage from up close.
